Meet Our Team: Meg van den Beemt

I am excited to join the team at Parent Wellness Group in a greater capacity as the Client Care Coordinator. For the past six months, I’ve managed our social media account as part of the marketing team. My new responsibilities involve connecting new clients with clinicians who align well with their needs. My goals are to ensure a smooth and efficient intake process for clients seeking services and to be on the front lines of what resources and workshops our audience is asking for.

With concentrations in Psychology and Child Studies, I’ve always been super interested in learning about mental wellness and working with children and families. Design and marketing have always been a passion of mine- through serving as the social media manager for various clubs at my university, working to build up my own Etsy shop, and doing design work for various mental health professionals, I’ve been able to explore and expand upon my marketing and design interests. Doing social media work with PWG truly combines my interests of marketing and psychology perfectly! In both my roles at Parent Wellness Group, I’m a client facing presence - whether I make the Instagram posts clients see as they scroll through their feed or serve as the first name they see when they send us an email, I really enjoy engaging with and supporting clients on their therapeutic journeys.

In addition to my work at Parent Wellness Group, I also do social media design work for The School of Mom, intern at a speech therapy office, volunteer as a crisis text line counselor, nanny for various families in the area and serve as an assistant for a wedding photographer. I definitely like to stay busy! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, catching up on some beach reads, getting outside, and exploring the Boston area. I look forward to continuing in my roles at Parent Wellness Group and connecting with new people moving forward!
